- Pickup in Kigali and drive via Ruhengeri to the Cyanika or Katuna border post.
- Continue through Kisoro or Kabale and onward to Bwindi National Park (about 5 hours total).
- Arrive early afternoon for optional activities: Lake Mutanda canoeing, Batwa community visit, and a coffee-making experience.
- Note: A complimentary Kigali city tour (including the Genocide Museum) can be organized before crossing into Uganda.
